Join Governor Maura Healey in Plymouth for a Meet and Greet at Vitamin Sea Brewing on Wednesday, September 2nd from 4:30 PM - 6 PM. Governor Healey will share a few brief remarks before spending time meeting supporters, taking photos, and talking with attendees. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from the Governor! State Representatives Michelle Badger and Kathy LaNatra are seeking volunteers to hold signs at voting locations on Tuesday, September 1st from ~7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Even an hour is helpful!! • 8/20/2026: Plymouth awarded $3 Million for Downtown Green Infrastructure

 

Town Manager Derek Brindisi and Select Board Chair Deb Iaquinto announced that the Town of Plymouth was awarded a $3 million Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness grant to incorporate green infrastructure into, and improve pedestrian connectivity within, the downtown area. Read more here.

• 8/18/2026: Cape Bridges Forum #5

Join Senator Dylan Fernandes and the MassDOT team as they present the latest updates on the Cape Bridges program and answer questions from the community.

This session provides an opportunity for Plymouth residents to encourage MassDOT to work with major GPS navigation providers (such as Apple Maps and Alphabet/Google & WAZE Maps) to include Plymouth Exits 3, 7, 13, and 15 in geofencing protocols, helping to mitigate local road traffic during summer and construction phases.

We are thrilled to welcome so many new faces to the Plymouth Democratic Town Committee! As we continue spotlighting our inspiring local leaders, this week we are proud to feature State Representative Kathy LaNatra!

Representative LaNatra is currently serving her fourth term representing the 12th Plymouth District, which includes:

• Precincts 1 and 2A of Halifax

• All of Kingston

• Precincts 1 and 5A of Middleborough

• Precinct 3 of Pembroke

• Precincts 1, 2, 3, 5, and 13 of Plymouth

• All of Plympton

Serving her constituents by delivering vital resources, common-sense solutions, and impactful legislative pathways has been the honor of her life. In the State House, she serves as Chair of the House Committee on Federal Funding, Policy, and Accountability

Throughout her tenure, Representative LaNatra has been a champion for mental health. She has advocated and legislated tirelessly to ensure individuals facing mental health challenges have access to life-saving services, while securing the funding and workforce needed to sustain these critical fields. Additionally, she remains a strong proponent of workforce development efforts, including expanded funding for high-quality technical education.
